Becky Norlander is a full-time trainer with over 7 years of hands-on experience developing reliable, confident, and high-performance dogs across multiple disciplines, including sport, scent detection, and Search and Rescue.

She is a certified Human Remains Detection (Land & Water) K9 Handler through NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association)and actively trains and deploys with her K9 partners, Iago and Lira.

Becky’s SAR career includes:

• Earning NAPWDA HRD      certifications
• Extensive HRD water training      across rivers, lakes, ponds, and quarries.
• Real-world case exposure,      including cold cases 
• Invitation to train with the FBI      VRT (Victim Recovery Team)  2      years in a row— an honor extended to handlers whose skills and      professionalism stand out in the field

As the owner and head trainer of Three Hounds, Becky has taught hundreds of handlers and dogs, helping teams grow in:

• Confidence
• Water safety & swimming
• Dock diving (from fearful to      competitive-level)
• Fitness & conditioning
• Scent detection foundations      through advanced work
• Puppy development
• Manners & behavioral      troubleshooting

Her dogs — and the dogs she’s coached — consistently advance to Regionals, Nationals, and World Championship level events in dock diving and sport.

Podenco Canarios flying in from the rescue Casa de Posta in Sevilla, Spain; Algarrobo and Max.  Also in 2018 we added "D" (Douglas) a Portuguese Podenco to the pack and ended  with a COVID puppy in Jan of 2020. Iago is a Belgian Malinois and has introduced me to the world of SAR (search and Rescue)
